planned to be completed in April 2000.
The second phase comprises roofs planned
to be restored in 2000: 23 roofs with total surface
of 3159 m2. They are situated in three zones of the
historical centre of Dubrovnik, ranked by accessibility
(concerning the transportation of material). The first
group is hardly accessible and comprises 8 roofs with

5 roofs (760 m2). Easily accessible group comprises
10 roofs (1675 m2).
The participation in the rehabilitation
of the gutted palaces and houses comprises the termination
of works stipulated in the contract concluded with the
Ministry for Public Works, Construction and Renewal,
namely the restoration of the stone elements of the
gutted palaces and houses. The calendar of works will
be dictated by the mentioned Ministry, therefore it
will be necessary to ensure the funding as follows:

Od Puča 17 – Široka 5 162.948,00 kn
Sv. Josipa 1 150.000,00 kn
The restoration of the stone cornice
of the St.Blaise Church was contracted in 1999, and
is planned to be completed in May 2000.
The funds planned for the repair of
the Rector's Palace were defined after monitoring conducted
in 1999 on the suggestion of the Expert Commission for
Monitoring of the Rector's Palace.
The funds planned for documentation
are intended for the elaboration of projects related
to the Bishop's Palace and the Church of St. Jacob,
architectural surveys of blocks and monitoring of the
microclimate conditions in the underground of the Cathedral.

while the current projects will be updated. The exhibition
space is open to some ad hoc projects (exhibitions or
sim.) related to the activity of the IRD.
The traditional presentation of the
cities from the UNESCO's World Heritage List, organised
annually (July 9) in conjunction with the Dubrovnik
Summer Festival is planned in 2000 too, with the exhibition
